Ben Abubacker Tackles Great North Run for Alzheimer's Society
2nd October 2026
On Sunday 13th September, our Commercial Property Solicitor Ben Abubacker joined a record-breaking 63,000 runners on the streets of Newcastle for the AJ Bell Great North Run.
Ben was running for a very personal reason, raising over £1,100 for Alzheimer's Society in memory of his Grandad.
The Great North Run was also an important part of Ben’s training for his next challenge - the Munich Marathon on 11th October.
We’re incredibly proud of Ben for taking on these challenges while raising money and awareness for such an important cause. Well done, Ben - and good luck for Munich!
