Team Update: Ben

Meet our Paralegal, Ben!

"I was born and have lived in Bedfordshire my whole life. I completed my Law degree at Leeds Beckett University, graduating in 2021. In July 2022 I graduated with a Masters in Legal Practice from the University of Law in London.

I am currently a trainee in the Commercial Property Department having started my training contract in January 2023. In August 2021 I completed one week’s work experience at Sharmans and later, in October 2021 began working as a paralegal one day a week alongside my LPC. I started on a full-time basis in September 2022 after completing my studies.

My day-to-day roles include assisting with both grants and renewals of business tenancy agreements, from pre-contract enquiries up until completion for both Landlord and Tenants. I have also been involved in commercial property sale and purchases, first registrations of land, option agreements and Licences for Alterations. Since starting my training contract I have been taking on my own supervised case load, taking over files from initial instructions to completion."
