Sharmans Summer Outing 2019

This year’s summer outing involved a visit to Herring Green Farm in Wilstead where staff and partners of Sharmans were greeted to a spot of falconry as well as a go at the shooting range. The 'weapons' available included bows and crossbows as well as rifles and hand guns loaded with pellets. After brushing up on our aim, it was then time for a small competition of laser clay-pigeon shooting. In this, Simon Parrot excelled among the rest in terms of accuracy.

There was also plenty of opportunity to fly and interact with several species of birds including owls and kestrels. Above, you can see the variety of birds.
