Charity Golf Day Cheque Presentation

Following September's Charity Golf event, here are a few words from our Partner Steve Williamson!

"A big thank you to everyone who kindly supported our Charity Golf Day in September, for which the sum of £2,342.11 was raised for Sue Ryder.

As we had fewer teams than usual we were very pleased with this result and we are very grateful for the generosity shown by those attending, and who sponsored holes.

The individual winner was Russell Freeman with 44 points, closely followed by Darren Croucher with 43 and Graham Woolston with 41.

Nearest the Pin was Mark Smith, Nearest the Pin in Two was Paul Woods, Longest Drive was Ash Manning and Nearest the Pin in Three was Jay Hammond.

The winning team was the Pavenham Swingers (using their local knowledge) consisting of Paul Woods, Dave Drewery, Russell Freeman and myself with 96 points, closely followed by the Goodacre team of Jack and Simon Goodacre, Michael Kavanagh and Graham Woolston with 95 points.

Although I am retiring from Sharmans next year, the Firm are hoping to continue holding this annual event and no doubt I will be involved with this in some capacity.

Thank you once again for helping us to raise funds for local charities."
